Head Flag Football Coach

Bio

Coach Norris was hired in the spring of 2025 to begin the LBW women's flag football program.  Coach Norris joined the LBW athletic staff from Andalusia High School where he had been the head soccer coach and an assistant for football and basketball.  Prior to making the move to Andalusia City Schools, Norris was a teacher and coach with the Butler County School System for twelve years.  Most of the twelve years were spent at McKenzie High School where he taught History and spent time in various roles including; head football coach, head baseball coach, head basketball coach, and other assistant roles.

Coach Norris is a Greenville High School (AL) graduate who went on to attend LBW, Troy University, and the University of West Alabama.  He holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Social Science from Troy University and a Master's in Education Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama.

Tony and wife Tori have two sons, Braden and Andrew.  Coach enjoys hunting and spending time with his family when he is off the field.
